Ombre Nails

I've seen these Ombre nails all over the Internet and have been dying to try them. So here it is....This design is messy so you will have to do some cleaning up afterwards. And you can use however many colors you want to and whichever colors you want to. I just decided to use 3 and they were blue, pink, purple.

Materials:

-(Base color) First off I painted all the nails solid white. You can paint them with any color you want. When using neons or other brights for them to stand at its best to use white or nudes.

- Next you will paint on lines of the colors onto a makeup sponge. I did about 2-3strokes of the colors on the sponge so its wet with the color.

- Now comes the messy part... Line up the sponge on your finger and then roll it across the nail. Apply just a tad bit of pressure so that the polish seeks through the sponge onto the nails.

- Also when doing this after the first roll over the nail the colors still may be light. So for darker more vibrate colors apply more polish to the sponge and then roll over nail again.
All depends on your preference.

- As you can tell this is quite messy. Before cleaning up I applied some top coat to all the nails. Let it dry for a bit. Then I dipped a cue-tip into polish remover and wipped around the edges of the nails to clean them up.

And then you're done once everything dries :)
I've seen this look done different ways and with this you cant really mess it up. No matter the colors or how many it looks pretty cool. I like the bright colors for a fun summer look. Also it may not seem like it but this is a pretty easy design.
